Nationally Consistent Collection of Data

Kings Park Primary School is once again collecting data for the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data for school students with a disability. This collection is undertaken by all government, non-government and catholic schools across the country and is used for the department to look at what adjustments are being made by schools and teachers for students with a disability.

The process involves teachers outlining any adjustments made to teaching programs, strategies, resources or assessment to assist students within their classes. There will be a period at the beginning of Term 3 where teachers will inform the school of the adjustments they are making. From there a school team will assess all this data and report back to the department on the amount and level of adjustments being made to students at our school. No students are identified individually through this data collection.

We ask parents to read through the information in the article provided.
